My hands hurt. Rubbing down has been painful, but we’re getting there…


Now for a lot of elbow grease…

First we built the spray ‘booth’.

Disaster! The first tin of paint was opened and it didn’t seem right, surely that isn’t dark red?

So an emergency trip to VRS in Derby was needed. Got there minutes before they closed and they mixed up some RAL3003.
I should point out that they weren’t the numpties that supplied the original paint. However they did come to the rescue.

Back home and start spraying…

A terrible misfire knocked a few mph of the top speed. A safety car didn’t help, but an enjoyable class win capped a fun day out.
